Dr. Chaithra Shaji is a final-year MD (Internal Medicine) resident at Government Medical College, Calicut, and an MBBS graduate from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur, where she secured first rank and received the Sarojini Baliga Award. Her research focuses on cognitive dysfunction, autonomic neuropathy, endocrinology, and hematology, with a publication on cognitive impairment and autonomic dysfunction in Type 2 diabetes. She has won multiple academic awards, including prizes at MEDICON, TENDOCON, Kerala State APICON, and the CHG Hematology Quiz, and earlier distinctions in ENT quiz, chess, elocution, and extempore.
